An old pub with a thatched roof next to Linford Manor at the end of the old High Street in Great Linford.

The pub has two bars: one with a relaxed country pub feel and a fish tank; one with a livelier atmosphere, including fruit machines, a big screen TV and people who all seem to know each other.

They serve good beer and the staff are always friendly.

On weekdays you can get two lunch meals for £8 from a limited menu, as well as food at regular prices. The food offers better value for money than busier pubs nearby.

In the summer you can sit outside, either in a pleasant spot next to the pub's small car park overlooking Linford Manor or a less pleasant spot in a concretey area behind the popular bar.
